Wonderful haul Camille. They all look healthy and lovely. Cute mini mark and I can see why you bought the Paph!
I am picking up one of those Milt. Sunset plants in two weeks at the Calgary show. Eyebabe, Ecuagenera has them and attend a lot of shows both in Canada and U.S. They aren't listed on their site for some reason but if you e-mail them they can hold one. My friend got one from them and it was gorgeous. It's the photo I entered in the calendar contest. |

Great pictures. It looks like you took home quite a haul. Congratulations on all the new orchids. I like that idea of letting amatuer growers sell their orchids at the show.

It's actually your wonderful photo that made me jump on this orchid as soon as I saw it at the show!

Thanks I think I would haven't gotten more if I hadn't arrived over an hour after the show started. At such cheap prices stuff goes FAST! Started at 10am, and by 1pm the amateurs were cleaned out.
Not only are their plants cheaper, but overall they are even healthier and better looking than those coming from professionals (and those are very nice orchids too!). The amateurs grow orchids first and foremost because they love them and they have time to give their plants individual attention.
