Thank you for all the congrats everyone! It is much appreciated!  Yes, I do very much hope that it is a spike on my macraei! I know I no nothing about bulbo's, but I just don't think it looks like a new growth, so I think it will be blooms!

Having several bulbos of my own I can confirm that is a spike on the macraei.  Summer and fall are when most of mine bloom.
Your plants look good, but I would wait too long to repot. The media looks a bit tired.

That's great to know! Now that I look at it, it is definitely a spike. I guess I just wanted other opinions even though I was sure that it was a spike, but just in case it turned out not to be one. According to the tags, they were all repotted about a year ago. The tops do look a little gross, mostly due to algae and live moss, but it is still fine underneath. I plan on repotting each one next spring, or whenever they plan on putting new growths after the current ones develop.
