Need orchid vendor recommendations! (Eastern/Northeast US)

I will be driving up to Maine, and I'm hoping to visit one or two (or more!) orchid nurseries along the way. I will be passing through (or near) Northern MD, New Jersey, New York City area, Eastern PA, Connecticut, Massachusetts. Do you know of any worthwhile orchid nurseries along the way?

The only one I have in mind is J & L Orchids in CT--anyone been there?

I know there's this orchidmall website but I don't know which nurseries are good and fun to visit. I've been doing too much online ordering these days and I'm looking forward to visiting greenhouses and picking out plants in person. If you also know of some great garden centers that carry orchids but are not necessarily limited to orchids--let me know too!

I'm really open to anything (trying to diversify my collection). I like species more than hybrids, but that doesn't mean I will rule out all hybrids.

Parkside is outside of Bethleham Pa. It's a great place. I think they're only open on Fri, Sat and Sun.
J&L is also a great place to visit. It's small, but with all the mini's they have you can spend all day.

NYC you get Silva Orchids at the Union sq Farmers market on alternate Saturdays and Wednesdays. I would give them a call to confirm they are there. Apart from that nit much. some hybrid oncidiums in chinatown and overpriced plants at the Botanic/al Gardens. you find the Better Gow bags at Lowes.
