Sometimes their name are random letters or in a foreign language. Check the content--usually you'll find random links to non-orchid related website, or product/website advertisement...or just random gibberish.

What's strange is that the spammers are all "banned", at least that's what it says below their names, but they're still posting? I just found two spammers in the cymbidium forum.

They are banned but only after they posted. The Mod's haven't had the chance to delete the post. When someone is given a infraction for spamming they are immediately banned. Anyone can give an infraction

When someone makes a post there will be a little red tag at the top right of the post. Click on that to report someone being abusive, posting spam etc... The type of infraction they receive depends on what they do. Spam is a immediate banning and can no longer post. But only the Mod's can delete a post or remove your infraction. The faster these spammer get banned, the better.
