Default Bird feeder

I put up a nice bird feeder next to some trees, it's full of feed, I know there is a billion birds all around. None of them want to come to it. What's going on???? It's been up for a week now and I haven't seen a single bird.

Home Depot Song Bird Special. I see yellow finches, cardinals, etc flying in the trees. I'm thinking of putting a bird bath next to the feeder with a little pump. Maybe the trickling of water will stimulate them a bit to come and investigate.

Be patient. They just need to find it, and once the "word" (song?) gets out, you'll get to complain about refilling it so often!

It's funny, because they did not see it. I put a container with water and put one of those fountain pumps and they went for the water sound. Next to it was the feeder. They finally found it.

Looking out the window now, I can count about 30 birds on the ground (mostly sparrows, doves and some type of a jet black job) and a squirrel

I agree with Ray....just a matter of time before they find it and next thing you know, you'll have a big mess, LOL! My neighbor had a new one up for well over a month before the birds finally found it and started to eat. Now they have bird seed everywhere! hehehe

Default Bird feeder

I have about 5 and a fish tank turned sideways in my window for the birds to come into and about 9 hummingbird feeders. My neighbor says I stole all her wild birds cause they come here instead of to her house. My food must taste better. Barb Yahoo IM waretrop
