They are basically the goldfish versions of the cichlid world.

Some individuals of parrot cichlids will probably develop swim bladder problems quite easily somewhere down the line, because their bodies are not shaped the way they normally should be.

@ Ysa: Those are nice photos of your trips to other countries.

Someday, I'd love to be able to travel to different places around the world. For now traveling around California will have to do.

Cool shots of the caterpillars, btw.

It was real fun playing that character.

Entertaining show that "Sonny with a Chance".

I think it's going to be airing a 3rd season but this time it's going to be called "So Random!".

Nothing for now! Got my MSc in Plant Sciences in the fall from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, then worked as a research assistant for 5 months, studying the flight behavior of malaria mosquitoes. Now I'm busy applying for PhD positions over there, in plant-insect interactions. I hope to work in plant breeding companies afterwards, working on developing insect resistant crops.
Please try to develop how to get rid of mites for good

When you have a positive, healthy attitude toward life, your mind reaps the rewards. I know we can't ignore or deny negative feelings by pretending to be happy either. Do it by becoming a good gardener, methodically and carefully removing the weeds of discontent while cultivating the beautiful flowers. Find out how to remove negativity from your life in order to see positivity blooms!!

We all have battle with depression and bad times, here a great meditation technique that help me, I hope it helps you!

Pulling Weeds Meditation
Find a comfortable and upright place to sit. Take a few deep breaths, then watch the flow of your breath as it enters and leaves.

Now bring your focus to your heart, and as you breathe in, feel as if your heart is opening and softening; as you breathe out, release any tension or resistance.

Now visualize yourself walking in a beautiful but overgrown garden. All sorts of colorful flowers surround you, but among them are numerous weeds.*

You find a place to sit amidst the plants, and with awareness you mindfully begin to remove the weeds. Each one represents a negative aspect of yourself or your life. Name it as you remove it, and watch it leave your mind as you discard it.*

The more weeds you remove, the lighter you feel, as if a weight is being removed from you. As you do this, the flowers are growing stronger and brighter.

Stay here as long as you like. You may not have time to pull up all the weeds, so before you leave, promise you will be back again to remove some more.*

When you are ready, silently repeat three times, "May I be happy, may my mind be like a beautiful garden." Take a deep breath and let it go. Then fill the rest of your day with kindness and smiles!!!

[QUOTE=nenella;404545]Great Idea Ysa! ok here goes...

Where do you live/Where are you from?

*I am an Italian national born from Italian parents in Kenya E. Africa. I left Kenya when I was 22 years old, lived in the UK for 6 years & then got a job in France where I live to this day. I also met my husband in the UK (he's English)*

Wow! What a great journey! How many languages do you speak?

What do you do for a living?*
I manage a Holiday Park & am lucky to work together with my husband. We have been married 22 years. The company I work for is expanding and buys new holiday parks every couple years... so we get to move alot as 'love' creating and getting things up and running.. We've been lucky to move around alot on the whole of France's coasts - Atlantic & Mediterranean.*

That sound like the coolest job in the world. Looking forward for the pictures!

Do you have any pets?

I love all animals (except one, Mosquitoes!!!as, they to my knowledge are the only ones that attack you for No reason!)*

I'm with you on that one, I will have to add mites to the list!

@ Carl: I may not be famous, nor does anybody know that I exist in the world of film and television, but now you know that you actually do know someone from the big and little screens. Not quite so boring of a life you have there, huh?
Looking forward to see you in many, many more movies! And soon at the Oscars receiving an award!
