-I love camping and backpacking. I've done between 150 and 200 miles on different trails in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. The three biggest sections of trail I've hiked are in Myakka River State Park, the Shining Rock Wilderness in Pisgah National Forest, and, the biggest section, on the Appalachian Trail.
-I always have my nose in a book.
-I cook and bake all the time. On today's list of things to make: whole-wheat chocolate chip cookies, crusty french bread, and shakshuka, which is made with peppers, tomatoes, onions, spices, eggs, feta, and pitas. Yum!

Wowww. I would love to go camping and backpacking, we might try it this summer Your dishes just made me dream, crusty french bread hot with butter ufff

thankyou! its really a weird hobby for someone this young, especially for a guy. but hey, if we were all normal, think how boring that would be. i just dont go around to all my friends talking about my orchids, i still do normal teen stuff. but i do orchids on the side, and if someone knows me enough to come over to my house, then they shouldnt care. plus, if someone wouldnt want to be my friend just because i have orchids, do i really want to be their friend? but i usually establish a good relationship with somebody before i really talk about the orchids, that way they get to know me and know im a cool guy before making judgements about my orchids

WOW! that was long winded! im sorry

Ok let's give this a try

Where do you live/Where are you from?

I live in the beautiful city of Miami. Have been here for the last 10 years since I came from Cuba (Ysa we are looking at buying a home)

What do you do for a living?

I work as a full time sales associate at Bed Bath and Beyond. Have been there for 2 and a half years. Have always worked retail since I got my first job 6 years ago.

What are some of your hobbies (besides orchids)?

Besides orchids I love gardening in general. I too have a butterfly garden which I love seeing butterflies fluttering about. This year I've seen Monarchs, Gulf Fritillaries, Cassius Blues, Julias, Long tailed skippers, some other skippers, Cloudless sulphur and some others that I haven't IDed. Besides that I love to take pictures but need to invest in a better camera. I also love tropical fish both fresh and salt water (Don't have either at the moment but have 4 fishtanks waiting to be set up at a moment's notice especially when I aquascape.

Do you have any pets?
I do have a very spoiled little Quaker parrot. He thinks that the world revolves around him.

Here are some pics

I know what you mean. Even if they still pass judgement afterwards, kick 'em to the curb! But know when they're roasting you 'cause they like you.
