I'M STUNNED...UTTERLY
I'm utterly and completely stunned.
I got a free orchid from a vendor.
This never happens to me.
Wow.
Carry on.

YAY!!! There isn't much that is better than a free orchid!
Happened to me once. But, I ordered an orchid just because I wanted the one that came free. The free orchid was a paph 'raisin pie'.

It happens depending on where you get your plants...

hehe
awesome! I think some vendors will throw in a freebie with a larger order - I don't usually buy more than a couple plants at a time, so don't really know - I did get a freebie orchid once - I'm not sure if that was typical for the vendor, or if it was because one of the plants I had ordered turned out to be out of stock (they did immediately notify me, and credited back the cost of the plant)
I did once get a free, small hoya when I bought a large hoya on ebay
just think, if more vendors sent a freebie - how much repeat business they would get ...
so - what was the freebie?

Well, I only bought one thing.
I bought a Laelia anceps seedling from 4331 steven on ebay. And he sent me another seedling from one of his Laelia anceps crosses.
