One of my favorite excuses was to tell my hubby that words out that I love to take care of orchids, so people give them to me to orchid-sit while they are away or nurse back to health for them. He asked one time why no one ever reclaims them. I just say they think I do a better job of caring for them...or something to that effect. Not sure if he bought that, but he's stopped asking.
Also, as the seasons change, I rearrangement my chids according to their sun needs...therefore he doesn't know how many I have cause they are always being moved around.

Not only did I go a little overboard with my Oak Hills order for the Spring project plant, by getting a few TCs... But I also just got a "baker's dozen" from Olympic Orchids (Olympic Orchids - the Orchid Finders ~) and a couple other little things!

Mounted Phalaenopsis species baker's dozen *

Cattleya bowringiana ****

Hoping they are small enough so that I can hide them those who might not think it a wise purchase.

I wish you luck with Olympic Orchids!!! Ellen was not very nice to me, and all I had was simple questions and she screwed up my order and blamed me on it lol. Happy with the plants none the less, all are growing new roots and look good! They are rather small so you should have an easy time hiding them=)
