Smile FREE ORCHIDS for POSTAGE (US): DOWNSIZING

ALL GONE / THANKS I will PM the postage amounts to you all.

EDITED TO PUT THE NEW HOMES.

All right y'all, I hope you don't mind that I post here instead of the classifieds. I need to downsize to make room for the upcoming May show and my pre-orders.

Please note:
I will need you to pay postage.
US shipments only (sorry).
All orchids to ship bare-root.
All orchids will be packed very well.
First come, first served (no fighting please).
All of these orchids have been growing in semi-hydro.
All have been dipped in systemic and physan on a regular program.
I can take photos if you want.
Most have bloomed, some haven't (I will note).

Ready - Set - GO.

NEW HOME Roly0217 - Epi. dixorum 'Hummingbird x self' 1 seedling grown from flask from Woodstream Orchids. Extremely vigorous. Intermediate grower. It is a light green.

NEW HOME Roly0217 -Epi. ibaguanse 1 HUGE plant (over 3'). Extremely leggy. Warm grower. Lots of water and light. I haven't bloomed it but it probably will bloom this year or next. It was a rescue and has recovered nicely. It is red/orange with yellow.

NEW HOME Roly0217 - Rlc. His Light 'Praise' x Rth Free Spirit 'Carmela' 1 Huge plant with 4 new growths working. I haven't had it that long but it should bloom this year. It is a yellow and should have some darker yellow flare.

NEW HOME- cabnc Cym. Cherry Chocolate. I haven't been able to get the Cyms to bloom. It is just too hot here. There are pictures of the Cym plants in my gallery. This should be a chocolate burgundy. 1 plant.

NEW HOME- stefpix Cym. Golden Elf 'Sundust' AM/AOS. Supposedly a warmer growing Cym. It is a yellow. 1 plant

NEW HOME- cabnc Cym. Sunshine Falls 'Butterball'. Should be a yellow with some tan/brown flare. 1 plant

NEW HOME- stefpix Paph. Mount Toro x wilhelminiae 'Wiz' This looks like a NBS to BS but I don't know Paphs that well. This one was a gift and it just doesn't do it for me. I believe that wilhelminiae is now praestans. Should be a warm grower. 1 plant.

NEW HOME - ttn Den. Pirates Moon (American Beauty x Margie Thomas). This is a phalaenopsis type which is really tall. It is in bloom now. The flowers are a fuchsia/purple. It is about 3' tall with the spike. It is a single growth currently but is a fast grower. This is its first blooming. 1 plant.

NEW HOME - sweetjblue Brsa. O-rang 'Utan' This is a warm grower which loves lots of filtered light and water during growing season. It is a reliable bloomer. It is a spider type bloom orange with mahogany splotches. I have had it 2 years and it has bloomed every year. It has a tall spike but the plant is bushy like an oncidium. 1 large plant.

NEW HOME - Daethen Brs. Rex 'Sakata' This is a warm grower which loves filtered light and lots of water during the growing season. It is a reliable bloomer with very large spider type blooms of green with mahogany splotches. 1 plant.

NEW HOME - Daethen Brs. Spider's Feast 'Highland' AM/AOS. Same as the Brs. Rex for culture. It is also a reliable bloomer. 1 plant.

NEW HOME - Roly0217 Dgmra. Skywalker 'Red Star' This came as a division from Sloorchids but I am unable to bloom it. I am keeping one (I just can't give up yet), but I will let go of 1.

NEW HOME - Roly0217 Dgmra. Winter Wonderland 'White Fairy' AM/AOS. Same as above but it came in bloom so I know it will. I just am not doing something right. 1 plant.

NEW HOME - ttn Onc. Ellen Williams. 1 mature plant. This one requires full filtered sun and is a warm grower. It looks a lot like sphacelatum but with more yellow and sienna brown coloring. It is a compact Onc.

Help me find new homes.

Such a generous offer! To bad I need to downsize too! I'll be borrowing your idea when the weather warms up a little more...probably in about a month! I know your 'chids will find good homes quickly!

Would love to give a new home to the Paph. Mount Toro x wilhelminiae 'Wiz'.

And after others have a chance, if any of the cyms still need a home, they can join my cym colony here at the beach

Hi Charlie,

I already got a PM for the Paph and the Cym Golden Elf.

Would you like the other Cyms? You can PM me or post here. I'll put your name on them.

Regards, Melissa aka Shadytrake

Thanks Y'all.

ttn - I didn't receive any PM from you. Maybe it did not go through.

There are only 2 orchids left but I have an addition to the list.

NEW HOME - brewmyster Den. Memoria Doug Taylor (David Copperfield 'Golden Sunrise' x Palolo Sunshine 'Yellow Dragon') I believe this is a spatulata type. Waxy bronze to golden blossoms accented with red-violet overlays and tip. This was a cutting given to me and it hasn't bloomed yet. I will probably be a pretty large plant and will probably bloom next year.

The 2 below are also still available.

Onc. Ellen Williams.
Den. Pirates Moon
