Default I need some advice on an upcoming orchid presentation

A friend is in a local gardening club and they have asked me to come, bring some of my plants and talk about them. No problem there! Here's where I was stopped dead in my tracks. I am asking her questions about the site, equipment, times...what not. I find out there is NO av equipment what so ever....none, zilch. I can never guarantee what will be in bloom and so many of my orchids are not "orchid-y", in the sense that folks who have randomly encountered an orchid during their daily routine won't have run across something I raise. ("Can you see the platystele blossom there, ma'am?" I ask, as I hand her the magnifying glass....) I had thought about making handouts, since there's no other way to display photos. The other thing that stunned me is that I only have 15 minutes for my talk. I don't think I can get warmed up talking about orchids for only 15 minutes!~ I would love to get input about this! It's not until September, so I have some time.
Thanks.

If you have a lap top already, you may be able to rent a projector from your local library. This should be sufficient to prepare a presentation on your computer and hook it up to the projector.

....as long as one wall in the room is relatively white and bare you are gtg

I didn't think about the library! I'll have to check it out.

Yes, given it's in september, definitely have a look at getting hold of a projector from somewhere - I can't imagine any talk on orchids without pictures...!

No joke! Pictures are the best, if plants can't be had!
