Naoki, you could chop the bottom dead part off the plant and grow it. There are roots above the cut so it should be ok.

Roy, I was hoping someone would win it so that I won't keep looking at it every hour.
Your suggestion is not helping me and has made it much more tempting. I clicked 'watch this item' for now. It was last year today I bought a 3' long V. luzonica for my birthday present.

I know problem, just had an e-mail from a friend who is going to a Vanda Specialist nursery tomorrow. They have a clearance sale of their stock/breeding plants. Also, some of the left over m/c plants from their catalogs of past years. Nothing much in the way of bad things there either !!!

Oh, Thank you!
It looks like it is going to be more than I want to pay. I keep watching it, but I will place an order to my friend, Smiley at Smiley's Orchids. She knows what I like. ( This is scary, isn't it? )

Well, it was sold for $61.99. Way more than what I wanted to spend anyway.

Hey Naoki, this is the first plant he got for me. I've had to use their pic as I don't have anything else. I already have one of these but NOT flowering size. THIS plant is f/s.
