On the other extreme, it has been hot, hot, hot in Ft Lauderdale the last few days! Upper 80's, I think. It got up to 94 in the orchid house today so I had to bring in 2 fans. I think some of your cold air is coming this way in the next couple days so that will be nice.

Connie,
Here's the funny that relates to NE. I have a contract with a publisher in Boston to do some editing. They needed something faxed on Friday. We had our three inches of snow and EVERYTHING was closed. I had to sheepishly email them and tell them we really have NO capacity to deal with this much snow and was there another way that didn't involve driving to get this form to them.... I am sure they were all laughing themselves silly at 3 inches! Our weather "contract" states clearly, though, that we will typically suffer from 30 to 90 days of above 100 F days...snow, not so much!

Actually I'll take the snow over the extreme heat. Personally I wilt if it goes over 80!
