Need help picking up an orchid in AL

Hi guys!
After reading a recently posted thread about Paphiopedilum Rosy Dawn, I fell in love with this plant! I looked for one for sale online, and finally found one listed at DoLeaf.com. I placed my order with the vendor, Gold Hill Plant Farm in Waverly, AL, and was looking forward to my new baby. However, today I was contacted by the vendor, who said she couldn't ship me the plant, because her growers certificate doesn't allow her to ship to CA or any state that touches the Pacific She was very nice, apologized, and immediately refunded my payment, BUT I WANT MY PLANT! So, I was wondering whether someone from this board lives close to the Waverly, AL, and could pick up the completely paid-for plant and ship it to me (I'll pay for shipping, of course!). Or, if someone wants one of these beauties, and we could place one order that could be shipped to the state other than the one that touches the Pacific, and then you could ship it to me. Is this too confusing?
If anyone could help me with this matter, I would sooooo appreciate it!

Have you tried looking for it elsewhere? Would probably be simpler. You could have a look in the vendor feedback section to get ideas of places to look for it.

Thank you, Camille. I thought the deal was very good at that particular place, $15 for two or more growth plant (and they have one in bud), $5 shipping, and I liked the person with whom I was talking. But you're right, I should try to look elsewhere in the mean time.
