Where is Maria (peeweelovesbooks)? - Orchid Board

Hi Everyone! I know that people get busy and we all have lives outside of the OB, but I guess I get concerned when an OB member who is on frequently seems to just disappear. So that being said, has any one seen or heard from Maria? Her last posting or the last time she was on was November 20, 2010 or somewhere around there. I sent her a private message to check in on her about two weeks ago and haven't heard anything from her. I'm concerned and hope she is ok and that nothing bad has happened! If anyone has any info that could help ease my concerns I would greatly appreciate it!

I've been wondering the same. I'm getting worried. I know she has a life outside of he Internet, but she kind o disappeared.

I private messaged her about a month, maybe two months ago and have heard nothing. We used to talk on a weekly basis. Maria...Where are you ??

Also was curious about that. On her birthday (back in August I think it was), she kindly offered some free orchids. I claimed one of them, PM'd her with my postal address as she requested, and then never heard anything further. After that, she kinda vanished.

Her last post was on the thread about Birthday orchids that Stephen refers to above. That was 5th November, she's not logged in since the 20th November.

I seem to remember that Maria lived in Miami and was friends with Roly. Maybe he knows something or can call her to check on her? Hopefully she has just been really busy with work.

Yes I was a participant in that thread and that is probably what made me realize that she is missing. I'm not concerned about receiving the b-day orchid, I'd rather her enjoy them if she has the room and time for them, but then she just seemed to fall off the face of the earth. I know a few others have done that I just want them to know that it doesn't go un-noticed here in our large family!
