Oh! Am I mad at ME! I got a shipment from Parkside Orchids today. Very plainly marked all over the box and the individual wrappings was the warning to be careful unwrapping the plants. I thought I was being careful until I got to unwrapping my Lctna. Mighty Titan 'Parkside'
The plants were very well packaged with plenty of shredded paper and rolled into corrugated paper. Well, long story short, I broke off the tip of the bloom spike. AGGGGH. And it was the only plant (of three) that was in spike, too.
I've two more chances at this unpacking with care thing. The next boxes that arrive will be unpacked much more carefully.

It's true, probably most of us on here have broken spikes and I know the time I did it (a few months ago, all I wanted to do was cry!!). Fingers crossed for unwrapping the others
