...hey, want to do something nice for a group that is preserving orchid species? Many of you know about the Troy Meyers Conservatory and how much work they have done to preserve orchid species, but did you know that they are having financial concerns because of the economy?

Please consider send them a dollar or two. They are completely nonprofit and if everyone on this board sent them a buck or two it would really help them continue their work. You can PayPal it and it only takes a minute.

You can also reserve flasks for the spring etc. If you haven't been to their site, it is amazing. They sell deflasked seedlings and are happy to get you started if you have been wanting to try seedlings.

I have bought a few flasks from them in the past and will tell anyone that if you want to try to grow seedlings then it is hard to beat them on price I can’t wait until the spring when I have a few more flasks coming. I also give them a few bucks every now and then.
