Well, I'm not even sure I've actually done any breeding. I cross pollinated and got seed, but they may not turn out to be hybrids. I'll just have to see how they bloom out. I don't really know what I'm doing, I just got curious.
I do have some pics, I'll try to get them posted here soon.

Thank you!
Hmm. How deeply did you plant them? They should be just barely covered. And if you collected from a hybrid, some give just "dud" seeds, or if they sprout, aren't true to form. I can send you some seed, or a packet from the store runs about $2.99.

Thank you! Always neat to hear about them growing in other parts of the world. Are they pretty popular where you are?

Hmm, I can't say that I've seen copious amounts of them around, which is a shame. My dad always grew them so I guess I caught the bug from him!

I'm really in love with the Hepatica. Compact, lots of blooms, early, and nice foliage all summer. There are Anemonella thalictroides all through the bed as well - they come in just after the Hepatica. Not much going on during the summer in the bed - a few cute little ferns. In the fall, the geranium species have nice leaf color and the Jack-in-the-pulpit have beautiful red berries...
Thanks for the thread - it's fun to show off a little!
