Talking My visit to Smiley's Orchids - Picture heavy.

I had a great time visiting Florida. The weather was perfect. The best part, besides getting soaked at Universal Studio, was the visit to Smiley's Orchid. She was so nice and She and her husband, PK cooked authentic Thai food for lunch. Since papaya salad was so good, I have been making every weekend. The followings are the pictures at her greenhouse and the plants I bought ( There are a few more, but not in bloom). Enjoy!

Smiley and her greenhouse shot

Smiley and I

Den. chrysotoxum ( I think that is what it is. ) growing in Bamboo slots. According to her, the flower spikes cascade when they are in bloom.

V. bensonii x V. pumila It smells like raspberry in the morning. YUM!

Rhy. gigantea speckle & Aer. Bankok Sunset

Aer. Bankok Sunset Close-up. Very citrusy scent

Schoenochis fragrans
