Exclamation So it begins.

The first cold front of the season is here, and it's a nasty one (40s in central FL, 30s in northern FL). I just wanted to post this as a reminder to cover up your plants or bring them inside. According to the forecasts, things should be getting better by Monday.

Yup...I just finished getting all the chids tucked in for the weekend and set up the heater. Only covered the other plants that will stay out on the lanai.

Speaking of winter, I need to get a temperature alarm (inexpensive) for my 9x12 greenhouse.

Suggestions? Battery powered would be best.

I put my Phal. species in the GH this afternoon. We are supposed to get either high 30's or low 40's tonight. Time to get the GH ready for everything. It is really going to be tight this winter. My orchid collection has just exploded.
