Ok, I'm mildly embarrased to admit that I never actually read your name properly (I had it in my mind it was something like 'quit legal' .... Hmmm, maybe I need more sleep and less OB!)

Well, my original username, Carbuncle, was from the game Final Fantasy XIII. When I realized it had a meaning outside of the game, I changed it to what it is now. Being a person who likes to create and be artistic in unusual ways, I wanted something unique. TheBlazingAugust, is derived from August, my birth-month, and the fact that it is, well 'blazing,' in several ways; the temps, the beauty, and the 'glory' of it being my birth-month. Not trying to be conceited, but I like it! My signatures also show off my 'artsyness' One is a quote that I read and love, and the other is a line from one of my favorite song.

I remember seeing 'Carbuncle' on here when I first joined and wondered why I hadn't seen that name lately!! I love RPGs and, while the FFs aren't the absolute best (in my humble opinion), I still have most of them and enjoy playing See, not only am I an orchid geek, I'm a computer geek too

Ahh... I spent few years playing Final Fantasy XI. Loved it, but so glad I stopped. It took so much time of my life. Carbuncle is in several FF series as Square Enix tends to recycle characters and themes. He was one of my summons in FFXI and I thought he was very cute. I have tried FFXIII but didn't finish it. Did you like it?

Me thinks we should start up a 'computer game' thread in Off the Topic- it'd save us clogging up this one and I'd love to have a chat/ post exchange with other gamers

I agree with the off topic thread. FF XIII is one of the best I have played so far, with FFXII being the best.
