thanks everybody! i asked our president and a bunch of other people what the third small ribbon was for, and they have no idea! lol so i got one for "Best educational exhibit", one for "Best first time exhibtor", and one for something that no one can figure out!

maybe, but mine definitely wasnt the nicest! there were some really nice ones! but mine was different. mine was more about the info than the plants

I was there Friday afternoon
I got three plants from Steven...
Two dendrobium cuthbertsonii and a division of his awarded Cochleanthes Moliere 'Cardrona' AM/AOS which is in bloom
My greenhouse has been approved by the township finally and should be an early Christmas gift
Once that is finished, I will have more time to get involved with our society and we will get to meet <3

Way to go, Bob! Getting ribbons is a cool feeling. I've only exhibited plants a couple times in my society's exhibit, but it was neat to take home a ribbon. No blues for me, though.

The exhibit looks really good. Nice and simple, classy looking but not overdone. The few plants really pop out at the viewer. I'm sure your exhibit and articles give confidence and motivation to a whole new crop of orchid growers. After all, that's the point, right?
