Here's something that popped in my mind after seeing the gorgeous picture in the link.
Think of this thread as a motivator of sorts, based on the so-called law of attraction. If there's a plant you've been having trouble with (I.E. has never bloomed, looks deathly, etc), find and post a pic/pic link of a gorgeous specimen of that plant. You can come back and look at it when you have your doubts, and instead of thinking "I wish it looked like that," think "I can
make it look like that, and better."
The plant I'll choose for this is Bollea coelestis. I've already lost a plant to a severe fungal infection that rotted the crown. I've since bought a new one, and I'm positive I can grow it. When I think about it, i didn't really do anything wrong...it just happened.
The following pic inspired me, and I'm certain mine will look like this after a few years. My first goal is to make it bloom, and my next goal is to grow it to a specimen.
