I agree about the cost. I bought my 1st stuff at Lowes for a dollar or 2. If HD trashes everything check Lowes. They usually have a discount shelf.
Anyway I save everything, I chop and freeze over ripe fruits to make smoothies later on. I hate wasting stuff

Very much interesting to me.
This topic .Right now what I am doing is same. I never throw away a keiki. Some how I keep it. Even flowers bloomed on my keikis.
I cut it from the main stem and planted in another pot accompanying the buds.
