Default Venting my greenhouse frustration

Well, here it is the end of summer and my greenhouse was suppose to be completed 4 weeks ago
After delays in people's schedules and also delays related to township approvals etc. and a breath holding moment when we were almost denied the ability to build it, I finally got the final "okay".
Soooo...I am 8 weeks away from providing a home for my plants...and the only conciliation is the date is actually firm.
My kitchen is a madhouse as I ordered plants in anticipation of my "opening day" and I am trying to keep my spirits up.
I am grateful it is coming, but can't help feeling so foolish about getting so excited that I have a jungle for a kitchen
Anyone else go through anything like this? Any advice as I roll in toward the finish line?

I can't offer advice about your particular situation- other than hang in there by any means possible!

I can empathize with the waiting game though- I just went through a very frustrating gauntlet of misplaced, misdelivered, and misread paperwork involving college stuffs. Doesn't help that the admin offices are so understaffed- might be a similar situation with your greenhouse order.

Good luck! Hope it gets sorted out.

keep your spirits up and try to avoid the frustration of last minute delays.....dont forget the max min thermometer.....so you can read the range of temps that go thru the greenhouse.....and remember, the more you cram in it, the easier it is to regulate temps and humidity!!!! get some good under the bench plants to help humidity too....i use the amazon lily, it has a neat habit and is easy to divide and sell.....or give to friends....i always sell my excesses....avoid ferns, they end up as unwanted weeds....

Well the closest I can come is an addition on my house, finished in record time and a kitchen redo, more or less done by the final date.
I say, why NOT buy more plants?

I second Connie's suggestion--you need more orchid therapy!
