Thank you
I appreciate your not wanting to say something negative in the forums...

that being said, when a member has a valid story of a deal gone bad (or good! ) that has an actual sequence of events it's fine to post such information in our Vendor Feedback forum. From there, others can make their own informed decision on whether or not they choose to do business with that company.

It's just the raging rants and the he-said-she-said stuff that we avoid here

They should be refunding you money on the broken flask, not just the shipping, that is bad practice and if as you say there are very few roots on the plants too I would not be at all happy with this vendor
I would be taking photos as proof of damage and sending them a bill!

I know where to cut my losses, and since last night, I sprayed the seedlings with Super Thrive, and the yellowing is actually getting some green, so maybe I'll do one dose of that every 2 weeks.

Thank you Susanne, that is why I asked everyone to let me know if they wanted a private message. Also, since I'm still kinda new here, I had no idea there was a feedback forum... My bad.

The only reason why I am not asking for the money back for the plants is because I really wanted some of them, and I think it's worth the chance to revive them. And anyways, they would have thrown them out if I sent them back... And even if 2 seedlings make it, they wouldn't have a chance back there.

They don't always make you send them back if you ask for a refund, in my experience...

There's no way to send them back.

Refunds don't mean sending the plants back.

A refund is a monetary deal. No goods need to be returned.

Thanks Mary, for the name. I still think you should try to get some of your money back, if not all of it. Good luck with your plants! Keep us posted as to their progress.

I have never had a problem before, and most people that I have been dealing with need the goods back before a refund is given.

Thank you everyone. I will keep you posted on the plants progress.

I don't like the idea that so many people are reluctant to name vendors that they had a bad experience with. One of the big aspects about a community like this is sharing information to help us grow better orchids and enjoy them longer, and this is a goal directly contradicted by bad vendors.

Not to mention the amount of money this board collectively spends per year.

As Philip said, stuff of this nature should not be tolerated

I completely understand, that's why I have offered Private messages to anyone who would like the information. I can send you their name and other info if you would like.

I don't like to cause problems, and since some of us here don't agree with publicly displaying the information, I figured the best course of action is to send messages.

I would want a refund on the flask at the least and a adjustment at least on the rest that you feel are worth trying to save ....you did not pay for shoddy service and plants almost ready for the trash bin.
