I have no doubt that the RHS and other Orchid Societies will be keen to preserve this lovely plant! Wouldn't surprise me if they had already started some sort of breeding/conservation program.
I hope that I can go and view it one day, and if I do I will try and remember to take pictures.
Oh and thanks for the links to the Photos!
I'm having a strange year when it comes to native Orchids.... The once thought extinct Ghost Orchid was found in the county in which I was born, and this one is in my now home county
If I hear any more news about this one (Or even the Ghost Orchid) I will be sure to update the appropriate threads... and of course any one else have news about Orchids in the wild I'm all ears (or is it eyes on the internet!?)
