Default Sun, time and tattoos...

I got this Soph. coccinea on my upper arm in 1984. I was very excited to have had it bloom for me under lights. My advice with tattoos is to be sure that your "canvas" won't be stretching too much with time (shoulder sounds good for that!). The other thing is to protect it from the sun (especially if you freckle!)
I think that your choice to do a species rather than a hybrid is an excellent one, and the drawing looks both accurate and simple enough to be effective.

I agree completely with Duane. I would never get something on my stomach, as I am female and wanting kids. But I do like what you chose. With the right amount of color and shading I'm sure you'll be happy with it! Good luck and don't forget to post pics!!!

I took waaaay too long to even get pictures!
My mum took a ton but she doesn't have a computer :P

Anyhow, ta-da! mid-back, up near the neck.
I love it, especially now that it's healed

Funnily, now I want to elaborate on it with miniature orchids on either side!
I'll have to wait, though. Tattoos are expensive!

Thanks for the suggestions, and comments everyone!
