i asked if it was for sale. and they said no. they dont really know anything about orchids. they just have a tiny orchid section, and the catt isnt even in the same section!

by the way, the catt was about the same size of that schomburgkia its leaves were ten inches long

After talking to the owner he said he mounted it about 12 to 15 years ago. So who knows how old it was at that time. Probably the around the same age as your Catt.

Yes anyone can walk up to it and take some but I have been watching it for a couple years now and thankfully it just gets bigger.

I do have a piece he gave me last year and mounted it on my Royal Palm tree but it hasn't bloomed yet. He has piece's of this on every tree around him. Oh the spike reaches 7 to 8 feet long.
