Lovely plants , Nic, they look so healthy and I wish I'd been able to go to the show - I have to wait for my next orchid trip! Which vendors did you purchase from?

It is slightly fragrant - I noticed it on Sunday when it was warm but not so much this evening. I hadn't realised they were fragrant until I saw one of the vendors had a book called 'Fragrant Orchids' and Mini Mark was on the front. I'm not sure I could pin down the fragrance exactly but I'll keep citrus / vanilla in mind for next time I give it a sniff!!

Thanks Heather - I'm certainly very pleased with them.

The Phal Mini Mark and the Miltoniopsis came from Burnham Nurseries. I've bought from them before - a Phrag and an Onc ornithorhyncum, both of which are doing very well. I know Rosie has bought from these guys before too - and visited the nursery - so I'm confident about buying from them

The Dendrobium Polar Fire came from David Stead. He had a lovely collection and everything looked in good condition.

I bought the Cattleya from Ray Creek. I had a big chat with him at a show back in March, and like his orchids a lot.

I think I'm only just coming down off the high! It was a lot of fun!

Loving the new babies you have Nicky! The Mini Marks were all quite lovely, but I remember you having literally the pick of the bunch!

Ha ha! You're right I did! It was a case of too much choice - they were all great! I nearly bought one that had some unopened buds, but I didn't like the look of the crown. And another had a deformed flower that put me off. Yep - definitely the pick of the bunch!

Default Miltoniopsos Anneville

My Miltoniopsis is about to flower. When I bought it there were 2 buds, one of which blasted when I brought it home, but the other is opening very slowly, and I'm dying with anticipation, as I have no idea what it will look like and am hoping it smells amazing.

It's parentage, according the the RHS are Miltonia La Ponterrin x Miltonia Akagi.

Seriously - dying with anticipation!!!
