Rosie you did such an amazing job with the pictures! I agree about the East Midlands orchid society. It was the best display. And nice shot of that peloric! I do love them!

I love some of yours though, some I just didn't get and I think I prefer your Masda veitchianna shots and your shots of that Laelia purporata. The Dendrobium victoria reginae is just gorgeous looking, I think I missed that one somewhere.

The Dendrobium victoria reginae was one of Burnham nurseries. I've been kicking myself all day for not buying it! Might have to email Sara and see if they brought it back with them!

Yeah, not sure I would have been able to resit it if I had seen it... but I couldn't afford any more anyway! It may well be worth seeing if they still have it, I would give them a call if I were you.

I passed one up as well at a show last year, and it was quite decently priced. But I had read that the canes can get quite large, which made me hesitate. All the same, I'm still kicking myself for not getting it! The color of the blooms is fantastic.
So basically what I'm saying is that if you still have a chance to get it, go for it!

Ok, so Ted's just given me some background on the Dend Victoriae Reginae and apparently it can grow up to 1.2m so I'm having a rethink! I might have to make do with the photo for now!
