It should be simple, low tech. Get starter cocoons from biological supply company, put them in some sort of netted enclosure to hatch them. They usually take about two - 4 weeks to eclose at room temperature. Remember to keep them humid and provide the right plants for the caterpillars to eat. you can find the info on wiki.
