Talking New Orchid Babies!

I just got 3 flasks in from Troys!

No pics of the compots yet, but here is what they are supposed to look like. I'm so excited. All 3 flasks had excellent quality big flasklings and good quantity too.

Cattleya dowiana var. rosita 'Cammie' × warscewiczii 'CAS'

Laelia tenebrosa 'Rainforest' FCC/AOS × self

https://lab.troymeyers.com/flasking/...lask&id=TN6425

Dendrobium formosum 'Apricot Avalanche' × self

...must not reserve any more flasks....must not reserve any more flasks.

This is the 2nd flask of tenebrosa. I ordered 2 different ones because of the difference in the flower colors.

Here is the first one I got a few months ago.

Melissa, Congrats!!

I just bought a flask of Laelia autumnalis cross from the Laelia GOD, 4331Steven!!! Can't wait!!!

And, Troy has a lot of green smilie faces for me.

BTW---my seedlings from troy are getting fat, and my compot of Encyclia prismatocarpa is awesome!

Enjoy the bambinos!

Mine are too! (though I did kill a couple of flasks-wrong conditions)

I only have 5 smilie faces left. I reserved so many before I realized what I was doing.

Luckily I was able to cancel 3 really early on and 3 or 4 others were already sold out or red frownie face.

I think that will have to be all for now. I have enough to keep me busy for the next 10 years!!

Wow. well, I killed several flasks before I learned what I was doing!!!

so now that my confidence is back, I went back and reserved stuff that I know I can grow: Renantheras, schomburgkias, Laelias (of course!!!!) and some other stuff I can't remember.

I'm trying out some chysis and some angraecoids.

He just put up some brassavolas I couldn't resist. (who can???)

Wish me luck.

You have seedling reservations, no???? I ummmmmmm.... (wink)

I love tenebrosas and formosum is probably one of my favorite dens...I almost killed mine last year, but it seems to have snapped back.
I just might have to go and look over Troy's stock...
