Few pictures from Point Pelee National Park. We went there this weekend to walk around with the little guy. It was very nice. Point Pelee is the most southern National Park in Canada that narrows down to a tip. It's pretty popular with the tourists because you can actually stand at the Southern tip of Canada and have water in front of you. Due to it's location, the park is also a part of the migration route for birds and butterflies, which makes it a real hot spot for birdwatchers. This park is a lot of fun on a mountain bike!
I love to go birding! On the north shore of Long Island, the estuaries have a nice assortment of shore birds and ducks! I love to go hiking through the bluffs and spot red tailed hawks and osprey!
Very Beautiful ! Marty ..
A little voice in the back of my mind is saying .. roadtrip!
Great pictures Marty. I only live a few hours from there, and can you believe I've never been there? After seeing these pictures, I think I should make the little trip.
Great weekend, wasn't it, Marty? We shot water balloons with 22's this weekend. Saw Sandhill Cranes in flight over back field and lotsa little birds.
Weekend was perfect! Sounds like fun with the baloons!

There are supposed to be some there, but I haven't seen them yet. Point pelee has an interesting climate. I think it's the only place in Canada where cacti grow.
