Orchid Auction
http://www.geocities.com/vicorchids/may_auction.pdf
Scroll past all the no name Phals'.......apparently one of the best orchid collections you'll ever see be auctioned off.

WOW! That's some list!
I keep wondering though...
Is this what happens to us orchid addicts when we die? Our collections get auctioned off to people? Seems kinda sad!
I better go make a will lol.

Wow, thats a big list. But they seem lacking in the Catt department. But I saw Dyakia hendersonianum.

Ah.........I think they might have died but I'm not 100% sure on that one. Either that or they're too frail to look after them.

Over the 14 years I've been in business, I have acquired several collections from individuals. The reasons for the sell-offs vary: - Moving to Arizona; grows mostly phrags.
- Divorced and both moving to small apartments.
- Retired and relocating the residence to an RV.
- Retired and relocating the residence to a yacht. (Jealousy, anyone?)
- Collection too much for old person to care for.
- Yep, death.

I guess I won't move, if I have to sell my beloved plants. And I don't exchange them for the residence on yacht either.
