It's unfortunate that you read malice in my reply...my "Play nice" was not directed towards one specific person. It's more of a general thought because we all enjoy a stress-free forum here and I would like to make sure it stays that way.

Susanne I have no malice in your reply I really respect it. I don't like the fact that Tim. edited my reply. It was directed to one person had nothing to do with Tim. I give respect I expect respect

) ...but the words we write in a public forum are often misconstrued and a problem develops.

I love the fact that there is no animosity among our members and guests. I've seen and/or heard of problems and arguments that just go on and on at other forums and most of them probably started from something minute.

I hope you decide to stick around, it's nice to have you here with us

Im sorry Dave to edit your post, but some of your statements read, in my opinion, as insulting and could be taken in a worse way than originally intended. Perhaps I am too sensitive. Ross's statement about Florida did not warrent such a response, nor did I see them as negative, I thought he was just joking around. I will not be editing further posts, and I will, next time, wait till someone gets really insulted and the pot boils over on Orchid Board.

Tin, if you felt the post needed to be edited, then you did your 'job'. Fortunately, as moderators, we don't have the frequent need to edit anything posted here but in this case, you made a decision and took the appropriate action...no need to apologize for trying to keep us on an even keel here

Maybe its me being to sensitive! I felt that Ross went out of his way to suggested that I dont live a good life and live where the air is unclean. which is in my opinion was very insulting. This were I was born and raised and love it here. I would never say those things to anyone. This conversion should have been between me and Ross but I noticed he has not responded.

Dave, I live in Florida too but I didn't take Ross's remark as a personal insult. This shouldn't be going on in our Orchidboard forums. As you said: This conversion should have been between me and Ross but I noticed he has not responded.
...it could've been if a Private Message had been sent. I doubt if Ross meant to insult anybody and this entire episode could've been avoided.

Can we please drop this whole thing now? It's not the way this forum operates.
