GOT PURPURATA?
hi guys, new here...
i had a purpurata for about five years. no bloom. nearly killed by too much sun. anyway, it finally bloomed last june! one gorgeous fragrant flower. long slender white petals w ruffles, deep purple lip. i put it in our inside lobby for neighbors to enjoy. alas, after two weeks out, someone stole it. i'm still devistated and have been searching for a replacement but no luck. got a bare root in santa barbara and it died. does anyone know where i can get a replacement? or perhaps a generous member would share a division? i think it might have been werkerhauseri. slender whit petals, dark lip...
thanks!

well I did see some 'tipo' somewhere, but was looking for werkhauserii. The in sheath one I mentioned since I saw your post looking for an in sheath plant - I realize it wasn't the ones you specified, but thought you may be interested - I find all the varieties stunning

search on ebay for the species you are looking for, save the search and set for email notifications for new listings ...
