NYBG The Orchid Show: Cuba in Flower
Has anyone attended or is anyone planning on going to The New York Botanical Garden show? It runs until April 11th.

It is 20 $ to get in... wonder if it looks interesting and worth or it might be some cheesy installation.
I like what looks like natural habitat not so much something decorative and artificial...
well at the NYBG they have the Martha Stewart Herb Garden and the Mario Batali Vegetable graden...
using celeb and tv people is not very appealing nor promising...

I went on Saturday. I thought it was really nice. I would go again if I had the chance.

Stefano,
There were quite a few orchids in pots wired to the trees with decorative moss that I could see.
I will try to post some pictures this week.

Howard,
We met up with Dorothy last year and I sent her a private message about doing the same this year, I haven't heard from her. She must be super busy.

Hi all,
If enough of you are willing I can organize a trip, however I cannot go until at least the 29th of March. I work everyday, and my next weekend will be spring break.
Anyway, I have called the offices and asked about group sales, and am waiting for them to call me back. PM me if you are interested in going and if you are interested in going during the week of March 29 till April 05th. If we get enough people interested and to agree on a date we can probably make this work.
Most likely for me, I would prefer to go between March 29 to April 2nd.
I've been to the conservatory a few times, but have never seen it setup for the orchid show, and I am willing to bet $20 that its worth the trip.
