Mabuhay!

hi there everyone! Well, aside from plants/orchids i have a new addiction and its called "the adventures of Merlin". I can't believe it that i would be addicted to this fantastic tv series and i am so looking forward to its succeeding seasons (3rd season). Is anyone familiar to what i am talking about? Please do share your thoughts...thanks!

Hi, last year I watched about three or four episodes on hulu.com. I really liked it, but I started watching Legend of the Seeker instead and got addicted to that. So I never went back to Merlin. But I did enjoy the first few episodes.

good day sire, hehehe. Oh yes, next i will be starting to watch the first season of the legend of the seeker, my nephew recommended it to me cause he finds it very good. Anyway, the storylines of merlin is very strong, the actors/actresses are just perfect for the characters and the sense of humor is just right.

That is a great show. I'm hooked on it, too.

I missed the season finale and a bunch of this season's episodes, though, and I'm not sure what's going on at the moment.

My hubby and I really like this series and have watched all of the first two series.

Has anyone spotted the Masdevallia in it?
I would be interested to know if anyone agrees that that is what it is.

They have a mythical flower which is used as poison in one of the episodes. Arthur than has to go and find the plant to cure the poison. Well my hubby said to me when you first saw the flower "could that be a Masda" and I was unsure but thought possibly. Then when you saw the plant later on it really looked like a Masda.

Wonder if anyone else agrees

hi there fellow merlinian, it is such a very very good series, i just hope that they keep the pace. It's a breath of fresh-air actually. According to a fansite, the 3rd season will be aired around september or October of 2010.

--yup, i've seen it too and it does look like an orchid flower. Actually, when it comes to stories that involve magic and mysticism an orchid plant or one that looks like an orchid is always present. hehehe.

We saw series 2 here a while back. Series 2 has just come out on DVD, my hubby saw an advert for the DVD today and wants to get it so we can watch it again. Series 3 is meant to be coming soon but not sure when.

We may get it earlier here as it is a UK series, but I'm not sure.

hi rosie, like you i couldn't wait for the season 2 DVD to land here since i guess it would take many months before it becomes available. so just like you i ordered the S2 at amazon uk...i bit the bullet. oh gosh, this is addiction on my part but its really is an entertaining tv series i just hope that it will get better and better. I just hope that there'll be a lot of extras in the DVD.
