Default Let's do what we can for the people of Haiti.

Folks, I know that we are bombarded daily by local, and national organizations to give, give, give.
I also know that we just can't give to everything/everyone that asks for it. Somewhere along the way we have to stop and say "I've got a family to feed too."
Now is the time for us all to dig a bit deeper and help the people of Haiti. Perhaps we could fore-go that new plant this week, or do I really need that new pair of shoes when I have perfectly good ones in the closet. Somewhere in our daily/weekly lives there must be something we could give up just this one time to help these people, most of which were just barely surviving anyway.
Please find someway to give. Maybe it is $1.00 or $10.00. Any amount will help.
Be sure the organization you give to is legitimate and remember, every little bit will help.
Thank you,
Al

I knew you would be with me John. Just think, if all of the active members of the OB gave just a dollar what that money could do!

I agree.

This is a link to the UK charity Tearfund who are responding to the disaster.

Excellent! I'm glad you started this thread. I was going to if nobody else did but no-one knows who I am so it wouldn't have the weight that yours does.
