Spring Flowers
Its Spring in New York. The sun is out, the birds are making babies, and the allergies are here!
Well, no need to be sad, once the allergies clear up enough for to actually see whats around me, I can snap a few pics:
The Cherry Trees are in bloom (sorry I couldn't get close enough to one to take a pic)
The Magnolia flower buds are showing, Just a few more days I reckon.
And the garden flowers have popped out of the ground. Anyone know what they are called?

Crocus !! The true herald of spring I love it when they finally show their beautiful colors - one particular crocus gives us the spice saffron I believe.
Beautiful pics Tin, thanks!

Crocus huh. Cool!! There were some yellow ones next to these that came up right before the last snow storm. They got decimated, so I took no pics of those. Would they be Crocus as well?

There are yellow crocus but I think the most prominent color is the purple.
I miss them! We don't get them down here

oh dear. Don't despair!!! Just remember how lush and green and temperate your beautiful country stays in the middle of a hot humid Florida summer
We still get heavy, frosty mornings, and the reminder of cool breezes on an August evening is what consoles me

Nice flowers Terry!!!! I Just heard this morning that we are in for another cold snap next week. Maybe not so severe to kill the flowers, but who knows really.
