Well I got a low of 41 last night and it was already at that when I went out to look earlier this evening.
I was really pleased.
I've been trying to get my Masdi temps down, and 41 was what I had been told to aim for for the low on this species. I just need to keep an eye on it and bring it in if it gets much lower.

We have snow! Not much yet,but I'm hoping for more soon.I enjoy the peacefulness of a winter day,the frozen dance of the leafless trees, pines in thier white winter coats,riff-raff fleeing south with the aged snowbirds.Throw another log on the fire honey,it's snuggle season. Brad

Be careful what you wish for, Brad - last year was a duzy. But then you folks down in the banana belt don't really see all that much snow, eh?

I'm SE Florida, 4m from the Atlantic Ocean
We're suppose to drop into the mid 50s! Personally I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cold.
My chids which are all grown outside, will be fine. They are not in a greenhouse proper, but I do have them mostly on the east side, up against the house, in a corner, with a 'roof' which is a awning and lattice down the open side. Some are hanging on the North side of the house.
I don't panic unless the temps are in the mid to low 40s and the wind picks up coming from the SE which it doesn't usually happen during our cold spells. When the temps lower into long periods of windy 30s or even the rarity of 20s, my babies are brought in the laundry room and the house.
You would laugh at me bringing them in the house, as I keep it COLD in my house. I open all my windows and make it 'winter' as much as possible in here. Which is why I had to give up growing african voilets... they couldn't take the temps in the house. LOL So, since I wanna protect my chids, I will close SOME of the north windows where the wind comes in from.
Originally from Ohio -- I love love love COLD weather.. and miss the snow.
