Great thread, what about posting pictures of the blooms here later this season? Or every ones displays? Would love to see what's blooming for everyone the upcoming season.

My Phaiocalanthe is blooming. It knocks my socks off with it's beauty. However, that puppy is huge! Now I have to go on a spike hunt. What fun! Carol

Just about all my Masdies (including a couple first timers) are in spike, Dracula lotax, 2 Paphs, 2 Phals, Beallara Peggy Ruth Carpenter, Sophronitus, Tolumnias, about half of my tank is in bloom or spike. There's just too many and I'm laid up after foot surgery and can't run around and take inventory right now.

Ross,
Sorry to hear about your foot. Is everything okay, or at least going to be?? My lotax is hanging in there, but not doing much. I keep waiting for it to get off the fence, but nothing yet.

Too very weird Ross!! I had foot surgery Wed. 11/11. I'm on crutches until 12/1 at least. Yuck!! I'm sick of them already! Hope your recovery is going as well as mine is.

WOW! so many people with lots of spikes!
Makes me depressed lol
My in spike list

Mtda Maui Charm 'Sakura' - currently 3 spikes blooming and one more small spike

Den Mini Zengyo - one spike with two open blooms, and another small spike

Haraella Retrocalla - (DOH) two new spikes to add to the two older ones that keep budding

Phcal Kryptonite 'Blood Bath' (gah! I hate that name!) - 3 spikes! woot - this is a division I bought from OB member Jasen a few months ago! Thanks Jasen!

Ascda Su Fun Beauty 'Orange Belle' - another plant aquired earlier this year

Cym Snow Court 'Not Peace'

Cym Noid (small green blooms) - actually these are still quite small, but pretty sure they are spikes, 3 or 4 of them

Cym Noid (large pale pink blooms)

AND! my never blooming Catt Noid (my first ever orchid) has two nice sheaths!

Ok I feel better now - guess that's not too bad - I'm pretty happy with it
