This year (due to unnusual hot weather) the C. labiata autumnalis bloomed in advance, and only a few good plants are showed (typus, alba and semi-alba).

Then we can see the 'great winner' of the show, L. Pumila var "Imperatriz" (the winner is almost always a C. labiata)

I post some pictures of Catasetum 'João Stivalli #10', hybrid created by Mr Egel Perazolli, "The Wizard of Catasetums" from Rio Claro, São Paulo (who passed away in december 2006), to show his semi-hydroponic method (some day I'll talk about this)
