So are you designated host for all the speakers that come to your OS?
Speaking of Sushi, he and I pigged out. I took him to the Japanese restaurant I found recently. YUM!!!

The only 'cool' speaker can stay at my house. Just kidding. I volunteered to have him stay since I invited him. Tracy, it was so funny to watch OS people to dig through the plants, ask questions about those 'Asian' orchids. Jason told me that you remembered 'ALL' of your Neos name so you don't have a name tag on your plants.

We also had a very nice talk about 'orchids', his connection with Neo collectors in Japan and his family in Japan and in U.S. I did not know his mom, Yoko was raised in US.

The president of the OS invited him for our Spring Show in March. I hope he would come, otherwise, he will come back for "Phrag talk." He brought two of Phrag kovachii hybrid. I almost bought it, but put it down.

Did someone say sushi!!!! Yummmm! And can someone please talk Jason into giving a talk here in Boise, ID at my local orchid society???? P-p-pwease!

And I'm on board with Tracey, while other vendors prices may be cheaper....Jason has a much healthy and better quality selection...I've seen pictures of what she has bought from him and I wish I wouldn't have been a cheap-o because I'm not as happy with the quality of leaf variegation and root systems and so forth....when it comes down to it, I guess I get what I pay for...lol. And if/when I have another neo die, at least it won't hurt as much...lol.

Great, now you know what a neo psycho I am. Yes, I can recognize each one of mine without their tags. Embarrassing, freaky and pathetic but TRUE.

That's cool you guys had fun! I'm sure he had a nice time. Sushi, riding in a Mini Cooper and visiting other nurseries? What's not to love??

If you learned any info on growing the Dend moniliforme, Cym goeringii or any Paphs in general, please share with your buddy, Tracy, eh?

Bec, if there is enough interest in your OS about native Japanese orchids, I'm sure you can just email him to set something up. He itches to get out of MN once a month.

Tracy, as Jason saw my paph collection, he noticed that I have not been watering enough. That makes sense since some of my paphs have been struggling and have struggled. I only water them ONCE A WEEK regardless of the season.

As for Dend moniliforme and Cym goeringii, they are so 'new' to me. Jason left them since he think the climate in Oregon is similar to where they grow in Korea and China. He gave me an advise NOT TO WATER them so a while.

BTW, can you see the little flower bud on Dend. moniliforme?

Yes, I see the nubbin on the Dend mon. It will break open and probably show 2 buds. Hopefully, they will not blast, like mine.
