Thanks for the lead about Berkley's orchid collection. I had no idea.

I already asked my daughter to join the arboretum at UC Davis so we can go to the members plant sale which is coming up soon. The house she rents has an empty yard.

You're welcome! Actually, I had no idea about their orchids until I looked up U.C. Berkeley to make sure it was fairly close to where you'll be. I couldn't remember where it was. There are too many universities in California!
