Lots of lovely stuff going on, everybody!

Kiki—you must be *so* excited for your little Phrag besseae baby! She's all grown up now!

KiKi, good God girl, you gearing up for the annual Rumford Orchid Parade? LOL
Wonderful, I'll try to get an inventory of what's going on here too. As with you, the weather has really worked against us orchid growers in Maine.

Hi Yvan and Al! Yes I'm very excited about my besseae as it looked pitiful when I brought it home.
It's my most expensive plant, too. LOL! Somedays I watch it grow, somedays I watch molasses pour....same pace on both. And my Oncidium onustum is about that same speed. I had two spikes on that one, and I just noticed the other day that one has been lopped off. No one is talking either, not the cat and not the hubby. So at some point when I was not here, an Oncidium onustum killer came.... broke into my home.... lopped off one spike.... got a conscience then left. Thank goodness he/she came around and left one spike.
So Al, be very careful...I suspect he/she is still in the State of Maine. Guard your Oncidiums. You don't want them to be a statistic.

Al, where did you get the P. Kaleidoscope? Do you like that it's peloric? I don't care for mine at all. I bought mine in bud two years ago without knowing it would be peloric. Also, someone was asking me where to find a psychopsis.....where do you get those? Do you mind me asking????? If so, sorry!

Heck, KiKi, I don't mind at all. I got the P. Kaleidoscope at Home Depot on the sale table for $9.00. It was in blossom so, yes, I like that it's peloric!
An excellent source of Psychopsis is Pelican Coast Farms, owned by Orchid Board member Jerry Meloa.

I also have a couple from E-bay.........I have four now and will continue to collect them
