It messes my hubby up and he has no clue how many I have/had/or will have. He'll say, "where did that white one go, and where did this pink one come from?" And I will tell him I had to swap them because of new research I did, and they weren't getting the right light. Works every time. When he sees a strange new one, I say that it's been upstairs in the dormer windows cause I thought I saw something on it, so quarantined it for a bit. That part is almost true cause I quarantine all my newbies until I am satisfied they are okay and able to play nice with the others.
One day he looked around, and said "wow, where did all these come from? You have a gazillion here!" I just smile. He's somehow under the impression that I split alot of orchids. Hmmmm I might have mentioned that once or twice.
I can't help it! I'm an orchidaholic!

After looking at the classifieds I thought I should really clear out some of my too big stuff that's over running my rack. So I listed a bunch too with more to come later. I sold one already. Let's hear it for more room!

Wow, for some reason, I wasn't getting my OB messages these past couple days, and didn't see alot of these posts! Yes, I'm selling quite a few orchids. I'm not done listing, but will only list a few at a time. I must admit that I have more than I can take care of at the moment. I need to get my numbers back down to a manageable level. You have to remember, I haul all my chids to the sink for watering. Whew! It's awful selling them off, but I know they will be going to good homes of people here on OB! Thank goodness!

It is time for spring cleaning. I sooo understand. Some of my largest are sitting on the kitchen bar wondering where they can go next. All the monsters are going to good homes. Or even a bad home. Carol

I hear ya! I can't tell you how tempting it all is! I have to keep poking myself that I'm selling for a reason....I have too many! It's hard not to purchase them, especially when we know whose they are and that they would be well cared for. And the prices are so great! These are oftentimes well-established plants that we would be paying dearly for if we bought them at the nurseries. I've bought a few here and have never been disappointed! And I also notice that OB members always go that extra mile, you know?
