While our Ms. Terri was collecting trophies and ribbons, DH and I were collecting orchids at the very same show. I have pined for certain 'chids in the past. Little did I know all I had to do was bring my sweetheart to the show with me and he would buy them, for himself, but still. Working in a booth keeps one out of trouble. last march, for my birthday i went to 'national landscape day' - for two consecutive days! i went crazy when i saw so many orchids there, furthermore, many are not usually available in the nurseries here. after blowing about rm700 (usd184) i went home bring back 70 new chids! seedlings, cuttings and small plants. but hey, that is my own birthday present to me! i love spending time watching my plants grow well (and watch some die too). who knows, maybe in the future i will start collecting trophies and ribbons like ms terri here!

looking forward to 'johor international orchid show' in july must start saving money so that i can blow it on more chids!

thanks carol. my birthday was on 7 march. i went shopping for chids on 7 & 8. it was a blast to me, couldn't help it! best presents ever!
