Question Species Phalaenopsis forum or sub-forum. Tell me what you think.

Hi Everybody!

With the social groups closing (an understandable and logical course of action, given the lack of participation) a few of the members of the Species Phals social group have mentioned the idea of a forum or subforum just for species phals and their hybrids, similar to the Neofinetia forum.

This may seem redundant to some, but there are quite a few people interested primarily in species phals, and it can be hard and time-consuming to track down posts about them in the main phal forum.

This thread is for anyone who wants to show their support for the creation of a species phal forum or sub-forum and ask Marty to make it happen.

Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts, whatever they may be!!

I think it's a good idea .. Separate hybrid and species catagories.
What does everyone else have to say ?

I think it's a great idea. I recently visited another board (BAD MARIA), and each forum was broken down by species and hybrids. It was fantastically easy to navigate through the posts.

I agree. There are so many people with hybrid Phals that those with Species Phals can get lost.

I don't have a species Phal yet but I am interested to start getting some (an equestris is top of my want list) and a sub-forum for species Phals would be of interest to me.

It sounds like a great idea if it can be accomplished.

Thanks for all the positive comments everybody! This could be a really nice addition to the OB if we can pull through with it.

Hehe, I know Dorothy. I was just referring to pulling through with the interest part.

Just giving this thread a little nudge to make sure it doesn't get lost!
